Finito

Yeah, so I kept on keepin on and turn after turn this painting wasn't going right. After 2 or 3 completely different versions (see this post for 1 of em) I went back to my original vision - rich deep reds, blacks, magentas, umber. It doesn't translate too well in the photo - which looks rather demonic but in person its working for me - and definitely loved the feeling of painting again. Really ties the room together... I call it 'That Big Red Painting Which Hangs Above My Sofa 2008'
